【摘要】:Bleedresistanceisconsideredtobeanimportantcharacteristicinleatherusedtomakelinedandunlineditemsthatmaycomeincontactwithwater.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofwhetherleatherbleeds(exudescoloringmatter)wheninintimatecontactwithwetsurfaces,asindicatedbystainingproducedonwetclothincontactwiththeleather.Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytowetblue.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
