【摘要】:Thisspecificationdefinesperformancerequirementsforhelmetsusedinnonmotorizedrecreationalsnowsports(suchasskiing,snowboarding,andotheralpinesports).Thisspecificationisaperformancestandardandisnotintendedtorestrictdesign.Althoughahelmetthatmeetsthisspecificationwillhelpreducetheriskofsometypesofinjuriestotheheadatslowerspeeds,theprotectionislimited.Theuserisresponsibleforparticipatinginthesportwithinhis/herabilitiesandthenatureofthesnowconditionswhichmayvarywidely.Compliancewiththecommonsenserulesofthesport'ssafety,includinganyapplicableresponsibilitycodes,isessentialtohelpreducetheriskofpersonalinjury.AlltestingandrequirementsofthisspecificationshallbeinaccordancewithTestMethodsF1446,exceptwherenotedherein.Partialutilizationofthisspecificationisprohibited.Anystatementofcompliancewiththisspecificationshallbeacertificationthattheproductmeetsalloftherequirementsofthespecificationinitsentirety.Aproductthatfailstomeetanyoneoftherequirementsofthisspecificationisconsideredtohavefailedthestandardandshouldnotbesoldwithanyindicationthatitmeetspartsofthestandard.
